Potential candidates for a direct support professional position at SRC do not need to have prior care giving experience. We will provide all required training either during an in-home program or through Community Mental Health. What a prospective employee does need to have is an abundance of patience, compassion and a sense of humor!

Job requirements for Direct Support Professionals:

1. physical examination
2. negative drug test
3. negative TB test
4. lifting 50 lbs
5. excellent driving record

Job requirements for Home Supervisors and Assistant Home Supervisors:

1. physical examination
2. drug test
3. TB test
4. lifting 50 lbs
5. excellent driving record
6. compassionate
7. high school diploma or GED
8. one year supervisory experience working with Developmentally Disabled population
